Cool Books is a fun reading initiative designed to develop a partnership
among schools, businesses, and community organizations for the specific
purpose of furnishing individual pre-kindergarten through middle school
classrooms with quality, age-appropriate books. Each cooler contains
20-25 books for classroom read-aloud libraries.
The R.L. Bryan Company has served schools and teachers since 1844.
It donated a generous amount of time and resources to make the vision of Cool
Books a reality.
The South Carolina Department of Education supports the Cool Books program
because it
recognizes the importance of reading and education in helping people to not only
manage their
everyday lives but realize their dreams.
How can I participate?
To join others who are making a difference in our schools by furnishing students
with classroom read-aloud libraries:

- Print and complete the form
- Send the form with a check for $150.00, made payable to The R.L. Bryan

A cooler of books will be shipped directly to the classroom you designated
on the form. If you wish to order coolers for more than one classroom, you
will need to use a separate order form for each cooler.
